Section 57-A. Constitution of Wards Committee

1[57-A. Constitution of Wards Committee :– (1) In every municipality having a population of three lakhs or more, there shall be constituted by the Municipality a Wards Committee for each ward. (2) The Wards Committee shall be composed of the following members, namely: (a) the Councillor representing the ward who shall be President thereof; (b) an elector of the Ward to be nominated by the Chairperson of the Municipality; and (c) the Executive Office or any other official of the Municipality as may be authorised by the Executive Officer.]
