This Act was repealed on 21 November 2025 by the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), s.143(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
25. Night work for women 4***.—Except with the permission of the State Government, no woman 5*** worker shall be employed in any plantation otherwise than between the hours of 6 A.M. and 7 P.M.: Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to apply to midwives and nurses employed as such in any plantation.
