Section 3A. Appointment of registering officers.

This Act was repealed on 21 November 2025 by the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), s.143(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
3A. Appointment of registering officers.—The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette,— (a) appoint such persons, being Gazetted Officers of Government, as it thinks fit, to be registering officers for the purposes of this Chapter, and (b) define the limits within which a registering officer shall exercise the powers and discharge the functions conferred or imposed on him by or under this Chapter.
