Section 52. Application to Land Tribunal when landlord refuses to accept a tender

52. *[ (1) The tenant may apply to the Land Tribunal in the prescribed manner for permission to pay the arrears of rent due by him for any period through the Land Tribunal: Provided that no such application shall be made, if an application or other proceeding for the recovery of such arrears is pending before the Land Tribunal.] (2) Along with the application under sub-section (1), the tenant shall deposit with the Land Tribunal, the said due together with interest, if any, accrued thereon.
