61. Venereal diseases Subject to such rules as may be prescribed and such directions as may be given by the Government, the local authority may, make such arrangements in its local area – (a) for the free diagnosis and treatment of persons suffering or suspected to suffer from venereal disease; and (b) for the prevention of infection from such diseases.
