Section 2-B. Suspension of employees.

(1) No employee shall be placed under suspension, unless:- (a) disciplinary proceedings against him are contemplated or are pending; or (b) a case against him in respect of any criminal offence is under investigation, inquiry or trial. (2) No employee shall be kept under suspension for a period exceeding six months without the prior approval of the Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Education.]
