The C.T. University Act

17. (1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, namely:- (a) the Vice-Chancellor; : Chairperson (b) one eminent academician nominated by the State Government as its representative; and : Member (c) such other persons, as may be prescribed. : Member (2) The Academic Council shall be the main academic body of the University and it shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, statutes, ordinances and regulations, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University. (3) The quorum for meeting of the Academic Council shall be such, as may be prescribed.
