1. (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965. (2) 2[It extends to the territories which , immediately before the 1 st day of November,1966 , were comprised in the State of Punjab , excluding the territory transferred to the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Reorganisation Act,1966 (31 of 1966).] (3) It shall come into force on the first day of July, 1965
