Section 18. Eviction from municipal property.

18. (1) Wherever a municipal property is under unauthorized occupation, the Officer of the Municipality shall make a reference for eviction of such unauthorized occupants to the Tribunal or officer authorised under section 17 of this Act . (2) The Tribunal or officer shall pass an appropriate order within sixty days from the date of receipt of a reference referred to in sub-section (1). (3) An eviction order passed by the Tribunal or officer shall be final.
