Section 12. Rank of a Cabinet Minister.

12. The Chief Whip shall be having the rank of a Cabinet Minister of the State Government. However,- (a) the State Government shall not meet income tax liabilities of the Chief Whip as being done in respect of Cabinet Minister of the State; and (b) the Chief Whip shall not be entitled to any discretionary grants as being given to a Cabinet Minister of the State.
