Section 6. University not to discriminate

6. (1) The University shall not discriminate against any person on the ground of religion, race, class, colour, caste, sex or place of birth and shall be open to all in respect of admission, enrolment and employment. (2) The University shall adhere to the State policy in respect of reservation made by the State Government under the Constitution of India or any other law for the time being in force for reserving seats for different categories of students in respect of the State quota for the domiciles of the State of Punjab.
