This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Punjab Act 5 of 2017), s.174(1)(v); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
44. An officer, exercising the powers under this Act, may take the assistance of any police officer or other officer of the State Government, as and when required and upon such request, the police officer or the other officer, as the case may be, shall render necessary help in accordance with law.
