Section 26. Punishment for acquisition of land in excess of ceiling area.

26. Punishment for acquisition of land in excess of ceiling area. - If any person, on or after the commencement of this Act, voluntarily acquires land in contravention of sub-section (1) of section 17, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.
