Section 36. Bar of jurisdiction of civil courts.

36. Bar of jurisdiction of civil courts. - (1) No civil or revenue court shall have jurisdiction to decide or deal with any question or matter which is by or under this Act required to be decided or dealt with by the Authorised Officer or any other authority. (2) No civil or revenue court shall have jurisdiction to entertain or proceed with a suit for specific performance of contract for transfer of land which effects the right of the State Government to the surplus land under this Act.
