Section 16. Temporary vacancy in an Authority.

16. Temporary vacancy in an Authority. – Any temporary vacancy, other than that of an ex-officio member, in any Authority shall, as soon as may be, be filled in the same manner as has been prescribed for nomination, election or appointment in the case of a permanent vacancy. The person filling a temporary vacancy shall become a member of such Authority for the residue of the term for which the person whose place he fills would have been a member.
