Section 11. Terms of office of members

11. Terms of office of members:- (1) The term of office of the first members elected or nominated under section 4 or section 5 shall commence on such days as may be appointed by the Government. (2) Subject to the provisions of section 9, sub-section (1),and section 10, the term of office of members shall be three years. (3) Any member shall, if not disqualified for any of the reasons mentioned in section 6, be eligible for re-election or re-nomination at the end of his term of office.
