Section 20. Right of access to protected monuments

20. Right of access to protected monuments – (1) Subject to any rules made under this Act, the public shall have a right of access to every protected monument. (2) In making any rule under sub-section (1) the State Government may provide that a breach of it shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.
