18.1[Power of entry.-Any 2[x x x] officer of the Transport Department not below the rank of a Sub-Inspector5[and any officer of the State Directorate of Revenue Intelligence not below the rank of Revenue Intelligence Officer] may for the purposes of this Act, enter at any time between sun-rise and sun-set, any premises where he has reason to believe that a motor vehicle is kept, in contravention of the provisions of this Act.]
