Section 281. Penalty for acts done by persons suffering from certain disorders.

281. Penalty for acts done by persons suffering from certain disorders.-Whoever while suffering from an infectious or contagious disorder- (a) makes or offers for sale an article of food or drink for human consumption or medicine or drug, or (b) wilfully touches any such article, medicine or drug when exposed for sale by others, or (c) takes any part in the business of washing or carrying soiled clothes, shall be liable upon conviction to a fine which shall not be less than one thousand rupees but which may extend to two thousand rupees.
