115. Determination of seats after each census.- Upon the publication of the figures of each census, the number of seats of a Panchayati Raj Institution shall be determined by the State Government on the basis of the population of the area of the Panchayati Raj Institution concerned as ascertained at that census : Provided that the determination of the number as aforesaid shall not affect the then composition of the Panchayati Raj Institution concerned until the expiry of the term of office elected members then in office.
