Section 30. Term of office of Members, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

30. Term of office of Members, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.- Except as otherwise provided in this Act- a) the Members and the Chairpersons of a Panchayati Raj Institution shall hold office during the term of the concerned Panchayati Raj Institution; and b) the Deputy Chairperson of a Panchayati Raj Institution shall hold office as long as he continues to be a member of the concerned Panchayati Raj Institution.
