30[26-A. Rent Authority to be public servant and protection of actions (1) The presiding officer of the Rent Authority appointed under this Act shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of Sec. 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act No. 45 of 1860). (2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Rent Authority in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act.]
