Section 4. The objects of the University.

(4) The objects of the University.- The object of the University shall be to undertake research and studies in the disciplines specified in Schedule II and such other discipline as the University may, with the prior approval of the State Government, determine from time to time and to achieve excellence and impart and disseminate knowledge in the said disciplines.
