Section 216. Place of sitting of revenue courts

216. Place of sitting of revenue courts — (1) The Board may sit for the disposal of cases at any place in the State. (2) A revenue appellate authority shall sit at such place or places as the State Government may, from time to time, direct. (3) A Collector, a Sub-Divisional Officer or an Assistant Collector may hold his court at any place within the district, subdivision or other local area to which he is appointed. (4) A Tehsildar may hold his court at any place within his Tehsil.
