218. Inherent powers of revenue courts — In addition to the powers specified in the foregoing section- (i) a revenue appellate authority shall have all the powers of a Collector, a Sub-Divisional Officer, an Assistant Collector and a Tehsildar; (ii) a Collector shall have all the powers of a Sub-Divisional Officer, an Assistant Collector and a Tehsildar; (iii) a Sub-Divisional officer shall have all the powers of an Essistant Collector and a Tehsildar; and (iv) an Assistant Collector shall have all the powers if a Tehsildar.
