Section 8. Application of other laws not barred.

This Act was repealed on 1 September 2025 by the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 (13 of 2025); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
8. Application of other laws not barred.— The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of the Foreigners Act, 1[1946]1 (31 of 1946) and any other law for the time being in force.
