Section 11. Appointment of Licensing Officers

11. Appointment of Licensing Officers: The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette,- (a) appoint such persons, being a Gazetted Officer of Sikkim State Labour Service Cadre, as it thinks fit to be the Licensing Officers for the purposes of this Chapter; and (b) define the limits, within which the Licensing Officer shall exercise the jurisdiction and powers conferred on Licensing Officers by or under this Act.
