Section 26. Removal of doubts.
The Tamil Nadu Apartment Ownership Act, 1994.
This Act was repealed on 6 March 2024 by the Tamil Nadu Apartment Ownership Act, 2022 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 2022), s.31(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
26. Removal of doubts.— For the removal of doubts it is hereby declared that the provisions of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 shall, in so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, apply to every apartment together with its undivided interest in the common areas and facilities and the limited common areas and facilities of such apartment as those provisions apply in relation to any immovable property and the provisions of this Act shall take effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary containedin any contract.
