Section 11. Power to remove difficulties.

This Act was repealed on 24 August 2011 by the Chennai City Police (Extension to the Chennai City Suburban Area) Repeal Act, 2011 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2011), s.2; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
11. If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of the City Police Act as extended by this Act, to the Chennai City Suburban Area, the Government may, as occasion may require, by order, do anything which appears to them to be necessary for the purpose of removing the difficulty: Provided that no order shall be made under this section after the expiry of two years from the 18th day of July 2008.
