Section 34. Persons employed to carry out the Act to be deemed Forest-officers

34. All persons employed under sections 30, 32 and 33 to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to be Forest-officers within the meaning of this Act. 2[The 3(Government) shall also have power to appoint any person to discharge any function of a Forest-officer under any of the provisions of this Act which have been extended to any land or to any forest or waste-land or produce thereof by a notification under section 32 or section 33 or under any rule made in pursuance of any provision so extended.]
