Section 40-R. Tendering payment.

40-R. On making an award under section 40-L the Forest-officer shall tender payment of the kudivila awarded by him to the persons entitled thereto according to the award, and shall pay it to them, unless they refuse to receive it, dispute as to the title to receive the kudivila or as to the apportionment thereof.
