Section 6. Salaries, allowances of Parliamentary Secretary.

1 6 (i) There shall be paid to each of the Parliamentary Secretaries a salary of 2two thousand and seven hundred rupees per mensem. 3(1-A) There shall be paid to each of the Parliamentary Secretaries 4subject to such maximum limit, as may be prescribed, a house rent of such sum per mensem as the Public Works Department of the State Government may, from time to time, fix with reference to the prevailing rate of rent for the house the Parliamentary Secretary occupies in the City of Chennai; but the house rent shall not be paid 1if he occupies a house provided by the State Government free of rent. 1(2) Deleted.
