Section 13. Maximum period of detention. THE TAMIL NADU PREVENTION OF DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES OF BOOTLEGGERS, CYBER LAW OFFENDERS6, DRUG OFFENDERS, FOREST-OFFENDERS,2 GOONDAS, IMMORAL TRAFFIC OFFENDERS, SAND OFFENDERS4, SEXUALOFFENDERS,7 SLUM-GRABBERS AND VIDEO PIRATES3 ACT, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act No. 14 of 1982)

13. The Maximum period for which any person may be detained, in pursuance of any detention order made under this Act which has been confirmed under Section 12, shall be twelve months from the date of detention.
