Section 1. Short title extent, application commencement.

1.(1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education Act, 1992. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu. (3) It applies to all the Universities, Colleges and Institutions of higher education. (4) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint.
