Section 17. Fees and fines to be credited to the revenues of the State.

17. All fines levied under this Act shall be credited to the revenues of the State. Provided that it shall be lawful for the officer inflicting a fine under this Act to direct any portion thereof, not exceeding one-half, to be paid to the informer.
