Section 17. Offences under this Act to be cognizable. The Telangana Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1993.

17. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, every offence punishable under this Act, shall be a cognizable offence.
