Section 27. Inconsistent provisions of law to cease to have effect.

27. Any provision of law in force immediately before the commencement of this Act which is inconsistent with this Act shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, cease to have effect save as respects things done or omitted to be done before the commencement of this Act.
