Section 5-A. Temporary arrangement for exercise of functions of Board.

11[5-A. Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing sections, if in view of the reorganisation of States under the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (Central Act 37 of 1956), a Board is not or cannot for any reason, be reconstituted on the first day of November, 1956, in accordance with the provisions of section 4, for the area to which this Act extends, then until such Board is so reconstituted, the Government may appoint such authority possessing such qualification as it may by general or special order specify, to exercise the functions of the Board under this Act.]
