Section 40. Amendment of section 8 of Central Act 8 of 1923.

40. To sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923, the following proviso shall be added, namely:- “Provided that in respect of 13[employees] belonging to an establishment to which the 12Telangana Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 applies, the Commissioner shall pay the said balance of the money into the Fund constituted under that Act in lieu of repaying it to the employer”.
