82[54-A. When agricultural or pasturage land acquired for public benefit is no longer required, the patta thereof shall be made in the name of the person or his successor from whom, such land was acquired, provided he consents to refund the compensation originally paid to him. If such person or his successor does not take the land, it may be given on patta under section 54].
