Section 17. Power to amend Schedules.

17. (1) The Government may, by order, amend the Schedules. 19[(2) Any order issued under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is issued, on the table of the Legislature of the State.] (3) When a Schedule is so amended, any reference to that Schedule in this Act shall be construed as a reference to such Schedule as so amended.
