Section 31. Offences by Hospitals, Institutions etc.

31. (1) No dispensary, hospital, infirmary, Lying-in- Hospital, sanitorium, operation theatre, nursing home, blood bank, medical laboratory or other similar institution shall employ any person as a Para Medical Technician unless such person is a Para Medical Technician registered under this Act. (2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees.
