Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement.

1. (1) This Act may be called 2the Telangana Public Conveyances Act, 1956. (2) It extends, subject to the provisions of section 38, to the cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and shall come into force in the said cities from such date as Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
