Any ten or more persons of a village or two or more contiguous villages holding between them, either as landholders or protected tenants, rights in and possession over 50 acres or more in such village or contiguous villages and desiring to start a Co-operative Farm comprising the land so held and possessed by them may apply in writing in the prescribed form to the Registrar appointed under 82[the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Co-operative Societies Act, 1952] (hereinafter referred to as the Registrar) for the registration thereof.]
