Section 52. General Penalty.

52. Whoever contravenes the provisions of this Act or any rule or regulations made thereunder or fail to comply with any notice, order or requisition issued under this Act shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.
