This Act was repealed on 20 December 2018 by the Tripura Clinical Establishment (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2018 (Tripura Act 16 of 2018), s.28(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
17. Savings.—Nothing in this Act shall apply to— (a) any clinical establishment carried on by Government or a local authority; and (b) any asylum for lunatics or patients suffering from mental diseases within the meaning of the Indian Lunacy Act, 1912.
