17. Power to arrange for water supply during emergency It shall be lawful for the Director of Fire and Emergency Services or Fire Officer of the fire-fighting operations to draw water from any source in the area which he considers necessary during fire-fighting operations and on such occasions as may be required and the authority, owner or occupier having control over such water source shall supply water for that purpose at such rates as may be prescribed.
