53. Power to obtain information The Director or such officer appointed by State Government as Head of Department or any Fire Officer of Fire & Emergency Services, authorized by general or special order in this behalf may, for the purpose of discharging his duties under this Act, require the owner or occupier of any classes of building or other property, as may be specified by Rules, to supply information with respect to the character of such building or other property, the available water supplies, means of access thereto or any other material particulars, and such owner or occupier shall furnish all the information in his possession.
