Section 1. Short title and commencement.

This Act was repealed on 2 July 2007 by the Tripura University Act, 2006, s.48(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Tripura University Act, 1987. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.
