6-A. Transfer of charge or mortgage to land allotted during consolidation operations Where any land held by an agriculturist is subject to a charge or mortgage created in favour of a bank by an agriculturist and the rights, title and interest of the agriculturist in the said land have ceased as a result of the enforcement of the final consolidation scheme under Chapter IV of the U. P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, such charge or mortgage shall be transferred and attached to the corresponding land allotted to the agriculturist and to the compensation, if any, payable under the said scheme.
